ELEV8 grew from the Silver Surfer Vaporizer, a need for better glass, and the stubborn belief that customers deserve real understanding instead of random guessing.
From one invention to an ecosystem
The public record ties ELEV8’s retail story to the 2004 creation of the Silver Surfer Vaporizer and Steve Kelnhofer learning glassblowing to build the experience he wanted. That work expanded into manufacturing, a professional glass studio, two local retail shops, artists, classes, and community programs.
What the retail shop owns
ELEV8 Smoke & Vape is the local doorway for glass, vape products, smoke-shop essentials, and product guidance. It does not need to duplicate every class, custom order, memorial service, or engineering archive. It helps people understand what they need and then connects them to the ELEV8 team that owns the next step.
