Repair & custom studio intake
A real repair begins with the truth about the piece. Send one complete record here and keep the entire journey inside ELEV8.
Both ELEV8 stores can start a repair or custom-glass conversation. The studio must evaluate the glass before promising feasibility, price, timing, or outcome.
Pieces taller than 20″ do not fit this studio pathway. A dirty piece, adhesive, unseen cracks, unusual materials, or stressed joints can stop the job.
HOW IT ACTUALLY WORKS
Send the overall shape, damaged area, nearby joints, and measurements. Clear photos prevent bad assumptions.
Material, size, cleanliness, hidden cracks, decoration, and kiln fit determine whether the work is possible.
If the studio can take the work, ELEV8 confirms scope, price, deposit, timing, delivery, and the final risk waiver.
Do not ship or drop off glass until ELEV8 gives you a confirmed next step and handling instructions.
HISTORICAL GUIDANCE — NOT A QUOTE
Past repair conversations have commonly ranged from small fixes around $20 to larger work around $60–$200. Custom work has historically been discussed around $100 per studio hour. These figures are context only—not current pricing, approval, or a promise.
Cleaning fees have historically applied to dirty pieces. The studio may decline work when safe handling, kiln fit, repair integrity, or the requested result cannot be supported.
ONE PIECE · ONE RECORD
This intake mirrors the information the ELEV8 team actually needs. The submission is reviewed before any deposit, shipping, drop-off, or final liability waiver.
The online upload form is paused while ELEV8 Capture and staff routing are connected. Describe the piece, its height, what happened, and whether it is completely clean and free of glue.
Adam currently owns the customer-service email doorway. Do not ship or drop off a piece until the studio confirms the next step.
